Hey! I’m getting the procedure done in Monday. I already spoke to the doctor and he said he wasn’t going to take the stitches out, bc they had to dissolve by themselves.
I’m so worried! I read that if you don’t take the stitches out by day 10 skin tunnels can be formed. Should I take them out myself then?
Thanks! :).

You shouldn’t be worried about the stitches not being tooken out after 10 days. I’ve gotten my surgery last Tuesday and the stitches are still on and it’s been 11 days already. It should take 3 or 4 weeks for the stitches to dissolve. But if you do start to see it coming off, I would try to pick it off not where it hurts but comes off right away. Just trust your doctor and do what he wants you to do. Don’t worry I was really scared about it too but felt no pain at all except when you get ERECTIONS. And yea when you do get them and they wake you up at night, try to stop it and stand up to let it down a little. When your ready to get back to sleep, sleep on your side. Don’t sleep on your back because the blood will rush in to your penis causing an erection. And yes it will hurt due to the stitches.
My stitches fell around 40 days and I dont have any skin holes. Those are made when the flesh starts to heal, it pushes the stitches and they dissolve which means when you are almost ready, they will fall themselves. You dont have to worry about that.
What about when you are on the bathroom and pee,is it normal that the urine comes of sideways and from the middle and it feels like it will explode? (Day 9 by the way)
The first 3 to 4 days u gonna have some pain especially if u want to leave the house and when u are peeing it will burn a little bit and if it does burn a lot try put some vaseline right on the head of the penis before u pee .Hope it helps , I wish u nice recovery.
