Foreskin and Surgery

Like many others, my foreskin does not pull back and is attached to this penis. Whenever I tried to pull it back it came with discomfort. (I’m 16 for reference). When should I get a surgery? I don’t want to tell my parents, because they would likely object or have me wait 5 years. Also does a surgery come with pain? Do they put you under Anastasia fully? Is it expensive? Do you have to be a certain age?

First of all your gonna have to tell your parents because they will most likely have to do any paperwork involved and you won’t be very mobile for a week to two weeks if you decide to get circumcised.

The best thing you can do is tell your parents and if they say no. Over exaggerate the problem and complain about how it’s affecting your life and how uncomfortable it is

I’m 18 and had to get mine done about a month ago and I’m so glad I did. I wish I got it done ages ago.

Please don’t wait any longer, the sooner you get it done the better mate.

I had the same issue at a similar age but managed to correct it simply by pulling the foreskin wider over a period of weeks. Wasn’t difficult. Maybe a couple of times a day just gently stretch the opening till it feels like it pulls and then stop before you get anywhere near causing an injury. A bit like stretching a muscle before exercise. Repeat. You should notice it getting easier to pull back in a week or so. Saying that, I’m no doctor, it worked for me but probably best to discuss with a medical professional before trying yourself.

Surgery is a last resort in all cases so it's likely they wont offer it, especially with you being in an age range that its statistically small but does happen. Theres a way to fix it at home though, you can stretch the foreskin opening and that'll allow you to retract it. You do this by putting two fingers in the opening and pulling apart- not enough to hurt but enough to feel the pressure. As for the adhesions you can try and retract your foreskin and feel the same pressure- over time this will fix your issues. They use local anesthetic so theyll numb your pelvic area and then use a large needle to go to the base of your penis and inject the numbing agent while you are fully awake. When you are stitched and the numbing wears off it will hurt! Theyll give you pain meds to help with it but it will still hurt a lot. I have had 8 surgeries, one included the removal of one of my testicles, one to remove a circumcision complication and I'd have to say the surgery on your ownis is the worst!
