Hip/walking issue after attempting middle split.

I tried to do a middle split some time ago and ever since i have issues with my hips and walking. The left hip foot is slightly externally rotated. When i move i left thigh around it makes cracking sounds. The right one doesnt.

The right side of the hip seems to be slightly higher now.

The right side is also slightly more forward.

It's also uncomfortable to walk and it impacts my walking negatively.

It's out of balance.

The left leg and hip area now just feels bad.

I have gone to an osteopath for treatment. He did not give me a real diagnosis.

He only gives me exercises to do at home.

His treatment and the exercises have not really helped me.

I also do other exercises.

It's been months and its still there.

I havent done any X-Rays yet, since i thought it couldnt be that bad since I only tried to do a middle split.

Not sure what I should do moving on.

Have you been to a normal physician (before the osteopath). Is it worth trying a different osteopath? Lastly, do you know how long it is expected to last? Muscle pain can takes ages to clear
