I got circumcised April 2 and I was wondering why didn't my doctor do a perfect circle cut on my underside of my penis. At first I thought the swelling made it look this way but now I am certain that the cut was planned out. I am not mad I am just wondering if there is any benefits?

I think that question is best given to the doctor that performed the circumcision. As to why, might be connected to the reasons for the circumcision. Might not have been just phimosis but a short frenulum as well? Perhaps he wanted to make sure that the gap is long enough to prevent any possibility of re-attachment.
Difficult to say why he chose such a cut but as I said, best to ask him.
You are actually showing the bottom side. The V-cut is fairly common as it follows the natural attachment lines of the foreskin to the shaft. The vertical scar is where your frenulum was removed.
Thanks, after looking into V-Cut I found out that this is done due to the amount of sensitive nerves found under the frenulum. Also the cut prevent skin rolling over can partially covering the head.
Surgeons each have their own ways about performing procedures. It’s purely what the surgeon feels best suites you and him. Mines very similar but not cut as high as yours mine a little lower.
