Hi there, I've looked at a number of different posts about this but nothing really seems to be helping; I have noticed over the years that I have never been able to pull my foreskin over the head of my penis, I can see it but can never pull it back fully I get around half way and then it just gets stuck and hurts too much to pull it further, I can masturbate fine with no pain but I am also worried about sex in the future and whether or not it will hurt, my other worry is about hygiene as it's very hard to wash there when I can't fully pull it back, circumcision isn't an option for me but I am interested in any others!
(I'm recently trying pulling my foreskin back in the shower / bath but it doesn't seem to be doing anything)

I might sound like a bit of an idiot but the head seems to be attached to a sort of stringy thing? I'm not entirely sure whether or not that is normal but that seems to be what is stopping me from being able to pull it back fully.
Hi James, it sounds as if you have a "fenulum breve". The frenulum is that string what is on the backside of the head and connects the foreskin to the head. Your frenulum is most likeky too short. That's why you can't pull your foreskin entirely back. The only thing that you can and should do about it is letting it cut by an urologist. It's a minor procedure and it will make you happy for the rest of your life.
Best thing you can do is get examined by a doctor to determine what the issue might be and how one can rectify it. If it is phimosis and you cannot retract your foreskin to the level that it hurts and you do not want circumcision, well then that decision is up to you and no one can force you, however, you should get yourself informed about the possible negative effects of needing a circumcision and getting one. May I ask why you don't want a circumcision?
There is a possibility of trying to stretch the foreskin with creams or in warm baths but that might not work as sometimes the restriction is just too big for the stretching to have an effect. Though you should never stretch it to the point where it hurts.
Can you pull your foreskin over your head when flaccid or not even then ?
At 16, you’re normal. However the situation is not ideal. Your answer lies is tugging exercises. If two fingers fit into the opening, insert them and pull apart. Hold five minutes, regripping as necessary. Do that four times per day. The four sessions are important to prevent tightening up again.
If two fingers don’t fit, insert the biggest finger which will fit. As you progress, move to a bigger finger.
The web like structure under the pee hole is your frenulum. Is also response to tension and will grow. The easiest method is to retract to your limit and hold five minutes, again four times per day.
Dedication to frequent periods of exercise are key to your success, so if you wish to achieve full retraction, just do it.
