I’m desperate, it looks awfully bad, it’s like the skin is totally merging with the glans, the doctor said a while ago that he would separate them and yesterday was supposed to be the day that he would do it, but he refused and told me that it’s ok and that I don’t need anything else to be done, that eventually the skin would gain elasticity, but I don’t really see that happening. First of all it doesn’t look like it should, the skin feels tight when i have erections and I feel as uncomfortable as before the operation (I had phimosis) and there’s also this sort of dry skin that makes it look even worse, I don’t know what I should do, I just want to be fine.

I’m 17 and it’s been 3 months since the operation.

If it tight and sore when you are erect it does sound like you need looking at again. I would ask your Surgeon to reconsider or seek a second opinion. Sorry I cannot comment on the dry skin, I occasionally use moisturising cream or Cocoa Butter. Just a little once a day.

Good Luck

After circumcision, the skin will dry and peel as part of the healing process. The inner moist skin is now becoming outer dry skin. After this process is complete, you should be fine.

It has been some time since you posted this. How has the healing come along?

I would be freaking out if i was in your shoes. It appears like your glans and foreskin didn't properly separate, or you had a injury young you were young which caused them to fuse together. Maybe consider seeing a plastic surgeon to take off fused skin. You can see a regular doctor, however regular doctors only know how to use a scalpel. A Plastic surgeon will use lasers, acids, glues...etc.

Not what you're looking for?
