I am 20 and have recently been circumcised due to Phimosis and I'm want to know how do I go about masturbating and if there is any advice about how I should go about having sex from now on

Post Circumsion Life
I'm so sorry. Phimosis does not require circumcision though.
There are stretching creams and other less-invasive things that are recommended over circumcision.
It's incredibly rare to truly need to be circumcised (less than 0.006% of males), but unfortunately, medical professionals are not properly educated about the natural penis, proper care, or normal development.

After your body has time to heal from the procedure, I would look into foreskin restoration -

I had a very server case and after a couple consultations it was diecided it was the best option and although you mean well you didn't really answer my question
I'm sorry, I was trying to give you information on foreskin restoration so you will be able to enjoy the benefits of the foreskin again to make sex more pleasurable.
In the meantime, you'll want to use a lubricant - coconut oil is a safe natural lubricant for masterbation. It is not safe to use when wearing condoms for sex though.
Everything normal .Don't worry
Rub as you feel and enjoy . No special guidance .
You can't do anything for the first week let it heal first.
After that I used a vibrating bullet from Ann Summers on my head as not to damage the scar or stitches. It works really well but it will take some getting used to. Once you are fully healed its best to use lube and one of those masturbation sleeves they work super well and you won't damage the scar.
Thank you, I'll look into it
However, aggravated paraphimosis because of childhood genital abuse left my foreskin useless. I was circumcised in March 2001 I wish for my foreskin back again, but that can never be. Living without it is a learning curve I have yet to master.
JRSnow, how's the healing going?
Thanks for asking, it's going great and the bruising and swelling has basically left and my stitching has desolved
That's great.
Do you regret getting it done or are you happy with the result?
How far down is your scar?
Well due to the severity of the phimosis I had no other choice, if I could have lived with foreskin I would have preferred that but I am more than happy to be Circumsized and the scar isn't very visible
Did you have your frenulum removed?
Not sure tbh, how would I know
It seems no one but me tried to answer you original question directly. I'm amazed. I hope the suggestions I offered about masturbation following circumcision, were helpful.
With regard to the frenulum. I was circumcised under a local anaesthetic, so I was awake throughout the surgery. (Was it the same with you?)
I made a point of asking the surgeon not to remove my frenulum. Before he could answer, one of the attending nurses replied, "Of course he will. It won't be of any use to you." But she apologised when the surgeon said, "No of course not. You are here to have your foreskin removed. Nothing more."
I remember this - word-for-word.
Christopher
How would you know what? Are you asking about the anaesthesia you received?
If so, I will explain. A general anaesthetic puts you 'under' and you won't know anything until you wake up in a hospital bed with your foreskin removed and bandaged.
A local anaesthetic is administered by injections in the base of your penis which totally numbs the area and you remain awake throughout the surgery. This was the method I chose.

Hi JRS,
Like you, I too was circumcised as an adult. But in my case it was the injury I received from abuse to my penis when I was 5 yrs old that eventually led to a frightening incident of paraphimosis in the act of sexual intercourse. The consequent oedema was released by a small surgical cut through the tip of my trapped foreskin, which left it not only disfigured but also useless. I was told the only realistic option was to be circumcised.
Now to answer your question before reading replies from others. Masturbation without a foreskin is a learning curve that has to be personally attempted until a method that works for you is achieved. A common suggestion is to use a lubricant such as petroleum jelly or anything to hand which is slippery such as soap. But nothing like this worked for for me because it did not simulate a foreskin in any way.
The only option I have found that does work, is to use all the fingers of one hand lightly encompassing the penis; then gently slap it about with an up and down motion until the penis is erect. This seems to simulate a foreskin when it's used to masturbate, but nothing like a real foreskin of course. Once the penis is erect and swollen to the point of climax, nature takes over...
I hope this is useful for you. But I say again. it's hard work when compared with an intact penis.
Christopher
I find using lube on both the head and frenulum area work really well for me. I don't even have a frenulum but the area is still as sensitive as it was before.
I have found even stimulation of the scar line works well but depending how tight your circumcision is you will need lube. I did have experience with a masturbation sleeve from Ann Summers which with water based lube works really well.
Doesn't matter
Nature will guide . Don't worry . Hunger remains same whether you have a skin or not
Hi JRSnow,
Just seen your thread and you seem to have been inundated with some rather strange replies; not all by any means, but some!
I'm sure that by now everything has healed well and you have been sexually active again following the op.
I think the secret about masturbating is to use a good quality water-based lubricant - and plenty of it. There is an excellent on-line retailer 'Lovehoney' that you might wish to investigate, which has a great range of lubes as well as other products. As for technique, I would suggest you just do what feels good and build up to your climax. If you want to prolong the pleasure, 'edging' is a good method. As for sex, that depends on other things of course, but again lubrication makes everything nicer and more pleasurable for you and your partner.
Do feel free to come back if you want.
Hope that helps,
Peter
From both sex shops and from online sellers you can buy little battery operated rings or clamps which vibrate - these can bring about an ejaculation without any manual action being needed.
