Im 28 and very fit, i have noticed in the last year or so i seem to be urinating all the time, every 2 hours and the same at night, if I hold it in it gets quite sore in my stomach/ bladder area but not like I just need the toilet, i also have a bit of a pain in different areas of my stomach. I have been tested for uti and std's and no issues there, i had had my blood tested for diabeties last Oct and it was all fine. I have recently moved and I'm wait for a few weeks to get appointment with a new GP. Any suggestions?

From what you say there could be underlying health issues. And perhaps a trip to your local NHS walk in, if you in the Uk. But urinating frequently can simply be a case of, well, urinating too frequently !
I was referred to a Urologist by my GP, as like you I was going very frequently. I had got into the habit of going when I could rather than when I needed to. I was offered medication to help which I declined preferring to follow their 'retraining' advice. Basically this was to hold on a little bit longer each time and occasionally stop mid flow and release. This helps to strengthen pelvic muscle and to retrain your bladder. Your bladder shrinks naturally to the size required and by holding on a little each time you retrain it. I have literally halved the number of times I go now to an average five visits. And usually just once over night.
