I had a stressful week for work. Bend down to pick something, when I got up, felt like I pulled something in my lower back. Now I have a stiff back and can't stand upright due to pain and can't walk properly for more than 5 steps. Already took painkillers but it's not helping. How long does this last

you need to take it easy for about a month and don't over do it plus stretching may help your lower back
Thank you for the reply James. I have been resting for last two days and it's helping a lot.
you might do some stretching for the lower back and if you are not going to a gym you might try that to help you in the future.
I know for me I go to the gym at least 5 times a week and I have a class in Tia Chi twice a week and also do yoga twice a week which both has help my lower back.
