Hi, I am a 17 year old male, and I have been experiencing problems with my foreskin.
I am able to pull back my foreskin all the way when flaccid, but I cannot when erect. I have tried to pull my foreskin back and then get an erection, but I am unable to as there is a bit of pain and an uncomfortable feeling when I almost get fully erect.
I have not looked into circumcision that much, but I have also heard of other ways to treat the problem such as stretching and certain steroid creams that can be obtained from my GP.
I have not gone to see my GP yet about the problem and it is really affecting my self-confidence. Any help will be much appreciated.

If you have the option to get a circumcision it's worth getting it done.
If you have other surgeries to stretch the foreskin or creams there is still the risk of it coming back later on in life and it usually does.
Getting circumcised is really not that bad, minimal pain and discomfort and once you are healed you get the benefit of improved hygiene and girls really like the look of it.
I was exactly the same as you mate. I left it until I was 30 to get a circumcision but wish I'd done it sooner. It's painful for about a week or so but after that it's all good.
Keep on masturbating with steroid cream . It may go .
Circumcision is surgery on a very delicate part of the body. Don't enter into it lightly. Read our pages about phimosis (tight foreskin) and circumcision.
