How common is cosmetic circumcision.

Hi, I'm 22 and I was circumcised last year for hygiene/cosmetic reasons. I was wondering how many people get circumcised for hygienic reasons?

And I was wondering what kind of style everyone ended up with I.e low and tight, high and tight , etc.

i got circumcised 4 days ago for medical reasons and its killing me... how long did it take you to recover from the procedure, and how did you feel? also is there any tips you could offer ?

Hi,

It took about 2 weeks for my stitches and glue to dissolve and I was able to carefully masturbate.

I had very light discomfort for around 2 days nothing some paracetamol couldn't handle, I found erections not that painful but slightly uncomfortable. I found pushing the bandage up so the skin didn't pull helped and generally try to make your mind off the erection. I know it's easier said then done.

Try icing regularly to reduce the swelling at least 2/3 times a day, emptying your bladder frequently especially before bed and sleeping on your side I found helped a lot.

Is your penis still wrapped up with a compression bandage?

no its been free to the air for 4 days now but its so sensitive i find it extremely uncomfortable to wear pants or boxers so Im just lay around naked did you find it sensitive? if so how long for?

Mine was wrapped in a bandage for about a week so it wasn't too bad for me. Stay naked if it's more comfortable.

It's going to be very sensitive for some time, I did result to using either a condom or cling film (I know how weird it sounds) when the sensitivity got too bad. It does stop the rubbing but leaving it exposed to the air is the best way to speed up healing.

Do you have disolvable stitches?

yes i have dissolvable stitches. how long would you say it took before the sensitiveness wore off?

About 2 weeks and it will get less sensitive.
