I wonder how they deal with the frenar band as it is brought down the shaft to join the shaft skin. The pictures on the New York site show that the frenulum is excised. It isn’t clear if that also takes care of the tight ring.

I looked at the pictures again and stilld can’t see the answer. My guess is that the removal of the frenulum takes the tension from the frenar band.
