Hello again, we’ve somehow managed to hit double figures on the number of weeks since surgery! Just a reminder if first time reading my updates I was cut on the UK NHS due to a tight foreskin when had an erection only.
So how is it going….slowly slowly getting there I think. Swelling is still present, still a tiny ring around between the bottom of head and scar line which is a bit more predominant under the head where the frenulum would be. It’s really hard to tell if this is going down as progress feels so slow, I think it might be just but does feel a bit like the body has forgotten this part lol. Hopefully not too much longer as it’s this swelling that causes a bit of discomfort when walking due to it rub in on underwear and causing friction.
I know last week I said I would report back on how returning to jeans went, sadly that event didn’t happen in end so still haven’t put jeans back on so cannot say. Other than that don’t think there’s a lot more to say, just slowly waiting for that swelling to go, but do think it is slowly getting there as does feel I’m thinking about my penis left and twinges etc are getting less and less and can sleep all through night again without waking up so deffo progress. If you have any questions or comments do please pop below and I can get back.
Will do a further two updates for weeks 11 and 12 and then will bring these to a halt as think most the healing is now done

hi sounds like good progress for you, it’s been 3 months since circumcision Op due to tight foreskin when having an erection I have a ring around the whole penis which is quite pronounced and also quite a large bulge to 1 side. This has been like this since day one, kind of regretting have this done as this is impacting sex life massively and to be honest my penis looks awful
Hello! Ah sorry to hear you are having issues, mine feels the opposite so it’s swelling there when flaccid but with erections it sorts itself out and then swelling ring again when soft. I have heard it can take a number more months, up to a year, for it to all fully settle internally and look the “finished product” so maybe a few more months yours may settle. I guess other thing would be to see your doctor and see if they can do anything to assist?
similar story to others here, got it done due to phimosis when erect, had the op 7 weeks ago.
Like Unknown 6991, I seem to be the opposite of you, the ring is there when flaccid and less when erect. It’s not painful and seems to get better & worse, which says that healing is still ongoing.
It’s the one area of dissatisfaction I have at the moment, but looking at other posts that seems to be the part that takes longest. The swelling around the frenulum and underneath is much reduced.
I’ve got a follow up in a month and will discuss it then if it’s not improved.
If you’re concerned then I’d follow up with the doctor who carried out the procedure or get another opinion.
As others have said maybe it’s just time and patience required.
Hope things improve for you and you become happier with your decision.
