Circumcison Recovery - Week 12 - Final Update!!

Hi all,

Well well well, here we are, week 12 and the final update following circumcision surgery. Just as always if anyone is reading this one first, I was cut on the UK NHS system due to phimosis when erect only.

So how is it, well it’s still getting there. That very slight swelling, mainly under the head where frenulum would be, and a little tight there when erect due to swelling (like the slightest bit) but think can see progress now so very much trusting the body is doing it’s thing and maybe couple more weeks that will be all good. Of course still some slight discolouration but again know that aesthetically it could take up to a year to fully settle so again all good. I definitely think about it less day to day now, just getting on with life.

I teased last week a nice little something, well here is what it is, I am writing this update in a different place to where i did all the previous. Before surgery, I told myself when I’ve had it done I’m finally going to get a place of my own and now I’ve done just that, got my keys following writing last weeks update. So just a personal joy thing for me and now can really push on with my life, finally not having the issue of phimosis anymore and really look forward.

I am gonna end it there, my closing remarks are going to be what I’ve learnt, well those early weeks are rough and it’s definitely one of the toughest mental battles I’ve gone through getting through this recovery. But now I can see it’s time is the greatest healer, and can see how much better off I am going to be. Definitely no regrets on the surgery for me anymore.

If you have any questions or comments on any of the updates, feel free to drop below or message me. Until then, if you’re going through recovery now know you’ll get there, if it’s to come I hope your surgery goes well and you’ll reap the rewards at the end. Bye for now! 😀

So pleased it's all worked out. Time is the healer. The panic and worry is natural.

It's never a bad time to hear good news, and although this forum (and HU in general) is a supportive one, often we're hearing about people's misery. Thanks for the ray of sunshine. All the best to you.
