On line is a minefield unless you know who you are talking to. At 6-7 weeks your penis is still healing and might not be an indication of the final result. Do you have a primary care provider that you can go to for reassure if you're not getting help from your surgeon. I lost length too which I was very unhappy about, but it gradually came back as things healed properly and stretched out.
As @Man7Cut has said, perhaps seek reassurance from your primary healthcare provider. That said, the full healing process can be lengthy and patience is often the answer. Circumcision is unlikely to cause permanent reduction in penile length as no penis length is removed. Post-surgical inflammation and any fat you might be carrying above your penis are more likely culprits for that temporary effect.
Yes things can change in a few weeks. As I said was unhappy with how mine looked for ages and thought I'd made a mistake not to mention the lack of length but looks fine now. You don't always notice the improvement yourself, keeping a pictorial record helps. A second opinion is always helpful just in case
Pray to God and hope for the best. I had a similar procedure, circumcision carried on 24 January 2023 (20 months ago) by frightening because of tight foreskin/phimosis, will develop cancer, the lab results were all negative and normal. I only went to see this consultant for ED. It went bad so wrong, today I am completely, totally and wholly grounded for the past 20 months with no erections, nothing helps me, Viagra, vacuum pump, caverjet injections etc.
Please read all my concerns posted under this forum many months ago. Despite seeing a number of different consultants, GPs, no one can pinpoint the exact cause. The procedure was carried out privately, this consultant does not wish to know me.
I wish you best of luck, hope you do not end up same as me. Good luck and best wishes.
I'm sorry, but circumcision doesn't affect erections. Erection loss can be medicated. Most often, the erection problem is in the head. Bad psyche, bad erection. After circumcision there can be 4-7 days of depression (similar to women after childbirth). Normally a man overcomes it and then has a normal sex life. You seem to be stuck in this state. Don't look for the problem in your penis. The problem is your negative thinking about circumcision. You need to stop feeling sorry for yourself, and start thinking positive.
I thought the same at the start. But now it's back inaction and it's brilliant. The wife loves the new look and feel. Had mine in February and it does take time. Rub Vaseline on it every day.
Yes, mate! Another Vaseline smotherer. I had mine in early March - and I'm convinced that Vaseline did a lot of good for the first couple months. How are you getting on now?
