What is the best underwear type for circumcised men still having sensitivity after a year?

When I buy boxer briefs or briefs, I always make sure that there's a double layer of fabric in the pouch. A single layer means the exposed head rubs against my trousers which can be uncomfortable especially if it's jeans or work wear.

Some suggested microfiber underwears.Would you recommend this?,I can bear short term discomfort, but I want my glans to get keratinized which would help me in long term.

Microfiber is good because they are soft. Just make sure they are double layered in the front because a single layer doesn't stop rubbing. If they fit quite well you can keep your penis upright which helps also

Has the sensitivity not gone down at all since your circumcision?

in reply toJokersz

Yes,but still I'm having it to a certain extent.

if you want to lose the sensitivity then perhaps you need to stop protecting your glans penis. Continuous protection will only prolong the sensitivity.

Yes, actually I want to lose d sensitivity. Is there any method to do it..To get my glans more keratinized? I thought continous rubbbing against my underwear will help me and would provide keratinization and permanent solution.

Normally allowing the glans to come into contact with normal material would help reduce sensitivity. If you are using any moisturising products on your glans you might also want to stop those. Be natural!!

I personally don't wear underwear as I'm a surfer and I just wear boardshorts with nothing else, I found this is by far most comfortable.

Too cold here or I'd have done the same. Must be warmer where you are, lucky man

None. It will be over sensitive until you toughen it up

I swore by tight microfibre briefs for a fair few months before going back to normal underwear. They're a bit softer and allow you to breathe down there and get a bit of fabric exposure. Around week 10 I stopped using any Vaseline or oils and sensitivity dropped very quickly. I'm nearly a year healed now and I believe now (with hindsight) that it's just about toughing it out once the wound is closed and healed over - but I can't recommend microfibre briefs enough, they really helped me get normal again. These were the ones I used: amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07...

I’ve been wearing briefs that have that pouch microfiber types are great. I still have sensitivity but i just push through it. Best of luck

That's the way to get past it. Just ignore it and be normal as possible

Close fitting briefs are best as they give support and don't let the glans rub as much as loose fitting things like boxers.
