Shang Ring

hello I’m supposed to go for a Shang ring circumcision I’m 25 and have a tight foreskin. I’m worried about the pain for the surgery I’m doing the surgery while being put out but I’m still nervous about pain can anyone walk me through their experience?

The doctor told me it was a simple procedure and all I would need is regular panadol and to sign the consent. The pain was unreal when the ring was attached. I screamed in pain and the Doctor and his assistant went into panic mode saying this " shouldn't happen" they quickly prepared the green whistle and I sucked on it like there was no tomorrow. I'm not 100% sure but it felt like when they snapped the ring into place on my foreskin is where the pain started. Prior they had numbed it with 4 or 5 anasaetic needles!!!... He apologised again and said that was usual. I got up with the ring on doped out on drugs. He gave me a script for panadeine forte and endone and sent me to the chemist downstairs. As I awaited for the meds I started to awaken and begun feeling the pain returning to penis area. It was building and I could feel my self panicking. I got the meds went to my car, popped an endone and 2 panadeine forte and drove home. I got about half way in intense pain and I called my wife in tears saying I don't think I was going to make it! Suffice to say I made it and I rushed to bed shaking. I then spent the next 24 hours regularly taking those tablets on the dot when they were due. As each day passed the pain decreased and I needed the pain killers less and less. It was a challenge with the ring on for the next week. And a smell started eminate from the ring and penis. I went to see him and he ordered antibiotics. Eventually it was time for its removal and as he released it there was another great pain but it went quick.

It took some time for the infection to clear but probably 3 to 4 weeks later it was finally feeling better. And 3 months later it was pretty good.

I'm not going to lie. It was a tough month. But over 18 months later I was glad I did it. I guess as the old saying goes... Short term pain for long term gain!!!!... as I had decades of pain with a foreskin! As it killed my sex life. Now the sex is the best in my whole life! And no more infected sore foreskin!
