ripped stitches behind shaft after teenage circumsion.. advice?

its been 6 days after i got my surgery done due to phimosis, and i noticed a big lump of some kind of fluid on the 4th day and i stupidly was trying to drain it slowly through any possible tiny gaps that were possibly left and i ripped the back stitches, releasing most the fluid out and leaving a gaping hole in the back. i been using steri strips to hold up the skin as a replacement for the stitches bc my doctor said to js let it be as its going into apparently "secondary healing" which is where its supposed to scab and bring it together that way, i dont have any pain either but i did notice since i got this circumcision its on the smaller side when i do get erect i do know that its prolly js temporary due to stitches making it hard to be fully erect but i was wondering how long i should wait till i get back to my old size as well as the soonest time i can masturbate bc i been having extreme blue balls aswell as how to heal faster. 🙏

Hey man. First thing - don't worry. Everything is tight, swollen and in the early healing phase at 6 days. Erections will cause some pain and wound disruption (so try not to have any beyond the night ones you can't avoid) but although it looks bad the doc is right the healing will continue. Also don't worry about restricted length when getting erections. Circumcision cannot change the erect length of your penis, they would have to remove a whole section of it. The operation has only cut the skin. It will look different as your head is now exposed. I had phimosis too and never saw my head before the operation! After 2-3 weeks it will look a whole lot better and if you are concerned about scarring you can use silicone scar pads alternating with bio oil (google that) As for masturbation - this really is a will power thing. Simply don't touch it until 5-6 weeks and certainly not until stiches are dissolved/taken out depending on what type you have. Keep going, you'' be just fine, and just ask if you have more questions. I am in week 4 now...

Thank you, i appreciate it 👍 i will look into the silicone scar pads/bio oil. The hardest part is def the mind games and abstinence from being able to use it normally. i dont regret it bc the phimosis def left me with no choice but yeah if i got any questions later on ill ask

There is at least one study and plenty of anecdotal evidence in this forum that circumcision can and often does reduce the length of the penis.

NO properly conducted and peer reviewed study has found any shortening of the penis from a properly performed circumcision.

The 'anecdotal evidence' on this and similar forums is all made up by the anti-circumcision faction to alarm folks into not circumcising (even when medically indicated).

I think you should get it sutured otherwise you will end up with a messy uneven scar.

i thought the same but my doctor said it wasnt necessary so ill see where things go from there
