I’ve had phimosis since I was a teenager due to a scar on my penis. I’m able to retract it completely normally with no problems when flaccid. I can also fully retract it when erect, although it takes a fair bit of resistance and is uncomfortable when retracting, making sex uncomfortable.
I’m trying to get it sorted now, but due to massive waiting lists at my GP I’m trying to sort it myself. I’m currently researching topical steroids and trying stretching exercises to help. Does anyone have any experiences/advice with these and let me know how effective they are?
Many thanks!

Ring your G.P and ask for a prescription for 100gram tube of Betamethasone cream . ( topical steroid ) You can also buy a stretching implement on Amazon ( just search phimosis stretching tool ) Good luck
I’m still able to retract it fully whilst both erect and flaccid so it’s quite mild. I really don’t think a full circumcision is necessary. Thank you for your input though👍
Non painful stretching in the tub should do with patience, low dose steroid cream can help along. Pain stops the stretch growing skin in order to heal. See online PhimosisJourney it is the best most complete resource.
If you can retract when flaccid and erect, even with difficulty, then you will be low priority for your Doc'. Stretching can help with steroid creams, and rings are available online.
From what you describe it will not need much so should not take long.
