So I had a telephone appointment with my GP about phimosis. My foreskin has never retracted easily.
He’s given me a medium strength steroid cream to apply twice a day.
I’m wondering when should I be trying to pull my foreskin back? At the moment I’ve tried in bed a few hours after application or in a hot bath. I’m only 5 days in and aren’t seeing any improvement yet.

As often as possible, as long as it’s not painful. You’ll need to be patient though, stretching takes a lot of time and effort. But if it’s successful it’s worth it!
Usually recommended to use the steroid cream for 4 weeks some people longer but follow your doctor’s guidance. After a few weeks if not much change then contact your doctor and you will most likely be referred to a urologist like I was.
Yh that’s sounds good I was put on a very potent steroid cream straight away. Just try not to force it too much just do it enough but not to cause any pain to yourself.
Be patient. Carry on with the cream and gentle stretching. BW.
Stretching takes time. I would recommend researching foreskin restoration devices like a Advanced Supercanister and tugging weights. shop.foreskin-restoration.i... These will provide skin tension all day long to get that foreskin to grow and eliminate phimosis. If you use a device like this you should end your phimosis in under 6 months.
betamethazone is the name of the cream that works. it is not prescribed for skin conditions very often because it has been shon to cause a detereration of the skin matrix. in other ords, it loosens the skin hich is exactly wat is needed!!!!
