phimosis circumsision

hi guys had circumcision 6 days ago due to phimosis so head super sensitive , foreskin had to be cut away, and really fed up with scabs sliding off head . Started to put Vaseline over head to try and stop sticking to clothes(and legs!) is there anything else to try. Not looking forward to returning to work but got to pay the bills!

Hi there, I had my circumcision done 3 days ago for exactly the same reason. I also have the same hypersensitivity around the head of the penis. The doctor advised me to put Vaseline on the head twice per day after 48 hours - so I started doing that yesterday. If I want to walk around the house I’m finding I can only wear pouch type pants where I don’t move about and I’m having to take painkillers to be able to get the pants on. Would welcome any other tips people have as this first week is obviously very tough. Hang in there!

I found that bathing it in a glass of boiled water with about a level teaspoonful of salt for a few minutes was the most relaxing thing ever. Make sure the water has cooled to lukewarm though and gently dry afterwards, then apply Vaseline or leave to relax.
