Phimosis circumcision hypersensitive glands

I had my circumcision operation june 13 due to severe phimosis and balantis been 5 days . I am not swollen and feel no pain only when I accidentally become erect . I am wondering when will my glands stop being very sensitive I cant walk at all . My glands has never been exposed a day I have had tight foreskin my entire life and I am 21 years old . I believe I also ruined some stitches by showering and dropping water on the head to try getting rid of hypersensitivity . Please help .

Hi Man, sensitivity can be a problem especially after phimosis and never being able to exposed the glans. it can take some time for it to settle sorry Man, but if you try and expose him to your clothes as much as you can it will help yo desensitize eventually. if you are going out you should wear tight underwear or a jockstrap like nowhard has suggested you also might want to dress the wound with non stick dressing and using the salt water will also help wash and soaking for a little while will help to dissolve the stitches healing will be much faster when stitches are all out. The severe sensitivity went away in about three weeks for me, but I didn't have phimosis. From most of the feedback here it may take upwards of six weeks for the sensitivity to subside. I really feel for you guys who are cut as adults with phimosis - I don't envy you the adjustment period.

Please don’t let the above post worry you. There is a lot of exaggeration there.

I can’t comment on how quickly your glans penis will lose its extreme sensitivity as I was circumcised as a baby, but it will become less sensitive. But I would be very surprised if you lost all of your sensitivity. I am 43 and still have plenty of very pleasurable sensitivity.

My glans penis is not dried up, calloused or leathery. My sons were circumcised as babies. They are now 16 and 12 and their glans penises are not dried up, calloused or leathery.

My glans penis is a pinkish colour but I don’t mind. It is quite shiny. My sons’ glans penises are deep purple in colour and very shiny.

I posted a photo of my penis here the other day. Have a look - you will see that a penis circumcised 43 years ago is perfectly healthy looking.

I love being circumcised and my boys love being circumcised. My partner Natasha loves it too.

I hope you lose your unpleasant sensitivity soon so you can enjoy being circumcised.

I know this post is over 2 months old but I am also 21 and got circumcised 10 days before you did for the same reason, phimosis. Unfortunately, I am on day 90 and there is still uncomfortable sensitivity with touch from my clothes or skin. How long did it take you to be able to wear clothes again? I’m dying to get out of the house after 3 months.

Hey man. Its honestly been a very long time about a year ago for me to remember. It starts to get better around week 6. I started wearing really soft and tight boxers So that it wouldn't dangle around. Any time I wore harder underwear it would be very uncomfortable every time I walked. I recommend buying some very soft cotton tight underwear so you can walk around the more you walk around the faster it will become less sensitive. I wish I did it earlier than I felt like crap just sitting down all day butt naked. I was able to get out the house and walk around with pants. Goodluck it gets better trust me.

I had myself cut Dec 2016 And it took me maybe 2 months to not notice surgical pains however if your are talking about hypersensitivity then for me, it has been close to 4 years now with it. Before circumcision it hurt putting water on the glans, after say around 2018 it was still too sensitive to enjoy oral stimulation. Sometimes it'd feel great other times it just get too sensitive. The fastest progress iv'e had was using a flesh light and only using lube during masturbation. It was able to make sex enjoyable for this year however for me it is not completely gone. Thus why I am here looking for answers.

I see your response which was 4 years ago and want to ask you how the sensitivity is now? I’m at 8 months post op and what you said about the problem with oral stimulation I’m experiencing it now too. I only masturbate without lube because I have still loose skin movement but I don’t like to touch the glands directly because it feels uncomfortable and I don’t feel any pleasure. What tips can you give me?
