Fear of touching my glans

Hello!

I'm 23 years old and had my circumcision surgery 19 days ago. I used to have phimosis and, because of that, weren't used to touch touch my glans. Right now, I still have a bit of sensibility, but not as before. Even though, I'm very worried about touching my glans.

Do you guys have any tip? Of how can I loose this 'fear' of touching my own glans?

I still have some stitches, but I'm afraid that this fear won't let me touch my body completely and without fear.

Kind regards,

Hi. Even I used to have this fear about my penis. But now, it completely feels normal. It takes atleast 4 weeks to recover from circumcision. So, just relax and wait for complete healing to occur.

Give it time.

Over time, the circumcision scar will also heal, and the sensitivity of your glans will also ease.

The scar will take anywhere from 9-12 weeks to heal. Some guys get inflammation and that can even take several months to go down.

The sensitivity of your gland will also take time - could take a few months. The skin has to dry out a little and also get used to the touch of things like clothing, skin & hair on your leg/torso, and your hand.

Don’t use petroleum based lubricants or oils. Instead try natural oil like coconut oil for massaging and stimulation (masturbation). But wait about 60 days before you start masturbating and penetrative sex (also make sure your wound is not raw/unhealed).

That's perfectly normal bro. Being scientific about it, it needs a bit of time for your brain to adjust to this being the new normal - which it will. Congratulations on getting it done and enjoy your new, now normal (not phimosis) toy.
