Why is my glans so grey/whitish?

I see everyone in their posts and they are obviously red or pink but mine is I think very colorless compared to others. I haven't had sex and trying to keep hygenic. Have no itch etc. And most likely no infections. Also photo may be reddish than the original. A problem with my phone.

Hey Man, well I see you are circumcised this will always mean your glans will always have less colour then say somebody who is intact there glans will always be quite pink and shiny. How long have you been circumcised the longer you have the more keratinization you will have. Do you moisturise if not you should.

You mean applying oils and lubricants? Yes I recently started regularly doing that. I have been unaware of many things about my penis so I just started being a little caring about my penis health this month. Thanks

Hey Man yes some moisturisers like coconut oil or Cerave would be good. After having a circumcision your glans will dry out and keratinization is like a slightly thicker layer of skin it happens to desensitises the glans slightly so you can wear clothes comfortably when they rub against your glans.

good advice Mr mac

hi grandhomme360 he looks quite normal just could do with some fragrance free moisturiser I use this 4 times a say but that is just me so coconut oil is very good for your skin and also sex / massage And masterbation i long have you been circumsized take care and be safe

Hey mate, funny you posted this actually because it was only yesterday I was searching on here for a post exactly like this one! I have the same issue but I am not circumcised

and I have been regularly applying coconut oil to my whole penis including the glans, a few times a day for a few weeks now but not noticing any changes in colouration. For me, the greyish/whitish colour is at the very tip of my glans surrounding my meatus but the rest of it is a reddish/purple colour around the rim. Please message me if you find anything out about this issue :)

Of course under my glans is a little more purplish or reddish too. İdk if its normal tho but probably its OK

Oh no I meant actually on my glans but like around the rim of it but I think it may be because the very tip of it is exposed whereas my foreskin covers the rest of it. I think we're all good though bro, apparently it is common and most normal :)

Huh? Doing what? I don't know what the cause of the discolouration is

in reply to FriendlyPoltergeist

Sorry. I meant why are you applying coconut oil?

Oh well I just have always used that as a general moisturiser cause it's great for the skin and hair, smells lovely and is 100% organic and I use it as lube when masturbating also but when I noticed my glans was slightly greyish/whitish I figured it may be down to lack of moisture so I apply the coconut oil on my glans like twice a day now

👍

Hi friendlypoltergeist total agree the coconut oil is defo the best product and like you say 100% organic keep safe

Hey GrandHomme360, mine is exactly the same, and as far as I know, perfectly normal!

You have now posted three times about different worries about your penis. Why not go and get it checked out by a doctor? That would put your mind at rest.
