So after a few trips to the GP, it seems this year, that I have had a few cases of discharge from the penis. Each time were cleared up with Antibiotics but always thought it was maybe medication I was taking (Candida)
However each time, I get a wet tip (I'm uncircumcised) and a clear, sometimes white/green discharge. GP said it was an Anaerobic bacteria, and could be cleared up.
I have been with my GF for 8 years now, and both of us are completely faithful. However I am now thinking it comes from her? I haven't said anything yet, as I don't know how to bring it up?
This has only started in the last year or so, and we always had unprotected sex for the past 7 years. The last time I got rid of this, we then experimented with using a condom and all was clear.
Now I had one time sex unprotected, and it seems its back again?
How do I approach the subject that she may need to get tested just for both of our sakes, just to eliminate anything?

I was 40 when I had it done. Been with partner 15 years. It only started happening 2 years ago. Don’t know why. Doctor thinks it was inside my foreskin. Now I don’t have that problem
Hi Jack. Just to say that I was 31 when I was circumcised, and that was due to severe phimosis. If you need the procedure, then go for it. Please don't let the thought of the discomfort dissuade you. Yes, it isn't a bundle of fun for the first two weeks or so, but they soon pass and the rewards can be dramatic. It is, of course, a balance of risk vs need, and some people do regret it later. In my case I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever. Off topic, I'm now on the list for two total hip replacement surgeries as both mine are 'as bad as they can be' as one surgeon described them - and that was about 4 years ago!! Like you, I'm dreading the pain and inevitable recovery problems. All the very best for your health and future.
Don't worry, Jack. I'm the world'd biggest wimp by far, and I managed it, and so will you. With the support and understanding of your girlfriend you'll be absolutely fine. Good luck!
suggest to her that you are concerned for her & think it might be a good idea that she gets checked out to make sure she hasn’t contracted this infection from you
