One year post circumcision: still sensitive and not recovered

One year post circumcision walking for a long time is still sensitive and sporting is even a no go. Especially around the wound it’s just painful and annoying. Tried different underwear, pants but nothing seems to help. Does anyone please has advice..?

Yeah using scar scream as prescribe by the doctor

I started using bio oil 1 month post op and stopped at 7 months the scar line is healed and softened up

I think loose cotton boxers are the worst on your case. Form-fitting boxer briefs or briefs hold your penis on its normal position. Sometimes nerve endings near the incision line can be more on surface than earlier. It's like an electric shock, when a fabric touches it. If that is your case. it's possible to cauterize or use a laser to that kind of spot on incision line.

Unfortunately there is no miracle oil or emollient cream etc. to hide the scar. It is still suggested to apply and massage any fragrance free moisturiser, oil or emollient cream to incision line for several months post op. Scar will develop 12-18 months at least.
