All night nocturnal erections

I know at 58 I shouldn't complain about this and I'm not really I just want to know if anyone else has this issue and how they deal with it..I am rock hard soon after I get in bed and have an erection that could cut diamond all night long....I wake up constantly through out the night and I'm rock hard always, to the point that they are slightly painful... Sometimes I get up and walk around and it will subside somewhat but once back in bed full blown erection... I've tried masturbating and that helps for about an hour then it's right back at it... Believe me I'm ecstatic to still be getting morning wood but morning is all night long...I can't even get a good night's sleep... Any suggestions?

Yes sounds like every guys dream but having a prolonged erection can cause problems. According to the UK health service website, if you have an erection for more than 4 hours you should seek medical advice. The blood becomes trapped in your cock and can lead to tissue damage.Don't know how long you've had this but some things to consider are

Do you take any medication or supplements?

Do you use any sports shakes/supplements?

If it was me, I'd be having a chat with my doctor if this was a continuing problem

Only thing I take is a men's multi vitamin... Absolutely nothing else...I work out 5 times a week and I'm in good shape

Well sounds like it's nothing you're taking so I would be getting checked out by doctor just to rule anything out. What about during the day, or is it only nighttime?

That's the strange thing...I never get random erections during the day.... I've even tried not sleeping naked but that's almost worse.. It hurts then from being strangled...lol

I can imagine. I had really bad erections after my circumcision and it was better free than covered but still uncomfortable. I would still get checked out though just to rule anything out

I guess I shouldn't really call it a problem...I enjoy my over active penis... It's just the constant waking me up that's annoying... And I mean throbbing hard... One thing I need to update... My partner is a light sleeper and has reached over during the night and says sometimes it is not hard... So I really don't know if I'm hard all night or not... I'm thinking just many erections off and on maybe all night, and when I get erect it wakes me? Idk... Just seems like all night. And when I wake in the morning super hard... Can't even pee for like 10 minutes after getting up, unless I stand on my head...lol... Really I shouldn't complain but I am going to mention it to my doctor next week at physical.. Hey man how old are you? I certainly can't"finish" more than once a night now like I did in younger years but I don't ever remember boners like this... Maybe it's where I'm at in life and happiest I've ever been... Was married to a woman, now married to a man. Just took me longer in life to figure things out I guess
