Post circumcision medicines - Side effects

This is my 1 week post surgery. I have gone through ZSR and no complications with survey part and the wounds are started healing now.

However I was asked to take some pain killers and iron tablets for 10 days. Currently facing dysfunction with bowel moments and irritation while passing stools (with black stools).

Any one faced similar issues?

Hi - seen a vid on YouTube of your op type, looks very impressive. However, the problems you're experiencing are normal and expected side effects from iron pills and painkillers. Plenty of clear fluids should help your gut stabilize.

Yeah, My Dr advised the same, to consume lots of fluids. Feeling better after two days

Too much iron. Excess iron can cause black, even tarry stool. Pain killers can cause constipation. Go slow.

Same situation happened...when i told doctor about this he advised me to stop using all tha painkillers and use only if it pains

That’s good. My doctor asked me to continue the medications and proscribed tonic for constipation. However I reduced the medicine routine for time being.
