Post Circumcision day 16.

This is a 2 weeks post OP update. Everything seems to be going well with my circumcision recovery. Sensitivity is still there but bearable. I went back to work a week ago. It does take alittle bit of getting used to everything down there. Peeing is getting better as the swelling goes down. I had my 2 week post op Dr. Appointment. According to the Dr. Everything is healing better than expected. He told me it's fine to go to work. And return to a normal ish.. life. He also allowed me back in the gym. So let's see how that goes. No sex or masturbation for 2 more weeks. Or until stitches are fully gone.

Hi, why did you go for the surgery? And also have you ever retracted your foreskin and exposed your head before? And is the frenulum still in tact? If exposed before and frenulum not in tact, normally the healing will be ok

I had severe phimosis. And I have never been able to retract the foreskin. Frenulum was also cut. But surprisingly frenulum is healing nicely. Swelling is the biggest issue now but according to the doctor it should go down in a few weeks.

Glad to know that the healing is progressing better than expected. Swelling at the bottom of the head and above the incision right? For some people it could take months, weeks or even a year plus. Sensitivity issue is normal, you should heal up fast.

Thank you so much. I appreciate it. Today was actually the first day I walked without alot of discomfort. But the tip is still very sensitive so certain movements really humbles you.

I am at my 5th week brother, had ZSR circumcision and faced swelling issues throughout the recovery but its completely fine now. I am back at my work but sensitivity of glans is still there causing some discomfort during movements. Driving a two wheeler is still a bit uncomfortable. I think this will take one or two months more to ease out. Best of luck for your recovery.

Thank you so much. I know anything that presses hard against the glans is a nightmare. Having to always adjust. My job is mostly walking so even with tight underwear it gets rough sometimes.

How long did you wear gauze for

I didn't really wear any gauze. Other than the initial gauze put on right after the surgery.

How did u wear without I’m wearing one every day and it’s still uncomfortable I’m slowly getting fed up

If you have an infection or any bleeding then wear gauze but I pushed through the pain. Wearing gauze constantly and over and over covering the area just slows down the natural process of healing. I wore tight underwear and put Vaseline around the incision area so it doesn't stick and Vaseline on the glans. It will hurt for a while but that's the only way you get used to it. eventually pain goes away.

I tried putting tight pants on without gauze stuff doing that again it brought tears to my eyes it’s that bad 😂

yes i know exactly what you are talking about..pinching pain at the incision area when the penis is pressed over anything, due to the this issue i am using loosely fitted underwear and pants, jeans giving me hard times.
