Does the frenulum area desensitize alongside the other area of the glan after circumcision?

Had circumcision last November, the head is desensitizing slowly but the frenulum area is still very sensitive. Does it desensitize eventually?

Hey man,

I assume your frenulum is still fully in tact?

In that case yes, it slowly gets less sensitive. It does take time. If you're covering it with something try slowly removing whatever it is you're using to cover it.

I suggest using bio oil or a small amount of Vaseline to create a barrier. This will remove some of the sensitivity. It gets better! Don't stress :)

Yes, in tact.

I'm just wearing underwear and pant without any oil or ointment. Whenever there is friction, I can tell that the frenelum area is so annoying. Hope this settles to the level where I'm ok with it.

It does desensitise but less than the head. Mine was removed but it's still the most sensitive bit and you'll probably be glad of that when everything settles.

Thanks. As long as the sensation is bearable whenever there is friction with underwear and pants then I'm okay.

Sure you'll be fine. At first it all feels like "I'll never get used to this"

Thanks man for the assurance. I am grateful for the support and this forum. It is true that this causes great amount of anxiety and stress. At times it seems like "this is going to last forever" but fortunately I am experiencing some changes although it's slow.

Yes it will. I still have mine and I love it.

Just you wait, 'enry 'iggins, and never fear, either .. because in time your glans and what's left of your frenum will become almost completely desensitized ...
