Sensation after circumcision

Its day 23rd after circumcision operation

There is no sensation when I thought the gland but there is sensation/pain when it gets rubbed to cloth

How many more days would it take to cure fully or desensitize fully

Its been two weeks since mine is zsr circumcised. Still am keeping the dressing daily because of the hyper sensitivity of the glans area. Please suggest how to overcome this

To reduce sensitivity you have to slowly introduce feeling to the area.

I started by gently letting the water flow from the shower hit the head. Increase pressure and time. Wear loose underwear to let it move about. You basically have to get used to it. I am over two years on and still a bit sensitive but I am using cocoa butter and coconut oil to moisturise the area as I do not want to lose all sensitivity.

You guys are concerned about sensitization!! I just had my operation yesterday and concerned about everything associated with it. What should I wear what should I eat, I can feel every stitch and it's ending. Suggest me some first week things.

Well, basically the opposite to my previous reply !

Wear tight fitting underwear to reduce movement, I used non sticky medical dressing (melonin) with Vaseline as a buffer between penis and underpants. Take regular painkillers at first, then reduce amount and see how you fair. Sometimes around the house I would wear a loose fitting soft dressing gown.

From day two or three take short, shallow, warm salt baths. This will help the healing process.

As for eating, whatever you like, but try and avoid things that will make you want to go the loo more often.

Hi mate give it 6weeks if your head of its drying and peeling leave it or use a cream to reduce peeling and pain I would wear tighter fitting underwear if poss it will reduce movement also recommend hair fully away while healing it can irritate it then u should be back to normal and first time u use it or masturbate (wank) use oil or something it will be different with no foreskin now but u will be glad when fully sorted clean and tidy my Mrs gives more things I like so was worth it good luck

Bear in mind that a lot of us have foreskins that don't fully cover the glans, we don't consent, it just happens. There is a different sensation on the uncovered bit, but it's just different.

Circedandlovingit. Men who had a physical illness and/or pain may very well report that masturbation or sex after circumcision is better. Stands to reason. Walking after ingrown toenail surgery is much better, too.

It's normal bro. Just let your glans to get more friction with your underwear or clothes. Note it is you who actually tells your brain that that sensitivity hurts you but it gonna do nothing on your glans if you do not react for it but a force its friction. I did it for myself and this how I desensitised my glans just within two or three days.

I'm 11 days into my circumcision and afraid of the sensitivity of rubbing. I still wear a dressing as there are areas still healing. The worse part I find is getting an erection while I'm asleep. The pain is terrible.
