Hi, it has been 3 months since my circumcision in November 2020. My wound has healed and left with some swelling and that will take some time to reduce. I'm concerned with the desensitization and keratinization process because I'm still not comfortable with the friction in underwear and pant. What kind of food or nutrients that promote the keratinization process further? Hope you can advise. Thank you.

Keratinization and desensitization of penis head after circumcision
I am 29 days post surgery today and my glans have been completely desensitized by 3 week mark.
Only way to desensitize is by going commando when you are at home so you penis head is exposed to the rough shorts or pants. It feels uncomfortable for 10 days are so but, that sensitivity would go away. And don't use petroleum jelly or ointment on glans, Because It keeps the glans moisturized and sensitive.
AFAIK there aren't any foods that can help you with this. You just gotta leave it rough.
Thanks for your reply. By being completely desensitized do you mean the sensation is almost numb? Like the level of sensation on the hand or feet.
Not completely, It just desensitizes enough to make you not notice your penis getting in contact with clothes and stuff.
Yes, that is the sensation I'm feeling right now. It is just irritating whenever there is friction down there with underwear and pant. It can be ticklish too. It feels like an electrical shock all over the glan when it rubs. Especially when there is a certain level of pressure like water drop, can feel shock but not really painful.
Im also 3 months post surgery. Sensitivity is still an issue though it is better. I wrap a loose bandage around it when im out the house
The funny thing is somehow we "know" that there is some changes to the sensitivity but visually it still looks the same. The uncertainty is the one thing that is causing us anxiety. Really hope that there is an explanation of the process that will give assurance to everyone who is going through the same condition.
