No need to worry . For me I had yellowish fluid with blood as well but it was lymph and my doc still gave me a short course of antibiotics as well . Keep the area dry and clean as much as possible . Wear loose clothes and preferably a loose cotton thin towel . Try to bath twice a day with mild soap and try to pour generous amounts of water at a slow pace along the glans and do not use excessive force. This will help dislodge any pus/lymph/clots so that the wound becomes healthier.
The infection usually comes down soon . Some danger signals to watch out for is increasing pain , more amount of thick white/yellow curdy pus with or without blood , more tenderness than usual , foul smelling discharge . Any of this comes up go directly to your doctor . Otherwise with antibiotics and keeping the area dry and hygienic it should come down within 5 days or so in my opinion . Also I'm not questioning the health professional but it may just be lymph for you as well in which case don't worry at all and just follow as per what was adviced by your doc and you should be fine .
At any point if you are still unsure or anxious do visit your doc as post op visits are crucial esp with infections since it delays healing .
Not sure I would call it a big wound but yes the base of the penis where the frenulum is attached as Hidden has mentioned is the last to heal and was the one that would cause pain for me . It completely healed for me around the 4-5 th week if I'm not wrong !
I am using gauze while sleeping and every morning that particular area near frenulum sticks to the gauze and it hurts a lot while removing it. I feel that some of the skin is ripping off. Is that normal ?
I am also having too much of erections during sleep and especially during morning. I am not able to control these at all. Does circumcision increase amount of erections ? I don’t think I had these many erections before Op
Try to wet the gauze with warm clean water and the surrounding area a little before removing the gauze and dry afterwards . This should help with the pain and ripping off sensation .
After the op , the area exposed is very sensitive to the surroundings and hence even the slightest things such as touch can cause an erection . This is very normal and will pass with time . If you want to avoid nightime erections , try ** to stop the intake of fluids after 6-7 pm and void your bladder just before and as many times as you need to during sleep . Also if you feel like a painful erection is coming up , assume the foetal position which essentially means you turn to you left/right lateral side while on bed lieing on your back and bring up your legs close to your chest . Alternatively you can put a cold cloth over yourself and it should come down .
