Hi,

I’m experiencing pain just below my cut line on the top of my penis. It feels very tender to touch to the point that I can’t masterbate or have sex. Trying to stay positive but finding it tough.

Is it normal still to feel pain at this point?

Scar line is sore to touch and bumpy and the pencil points to where the tenderness is.

Cheers

I’m almost 15 weeks along in the recovery and my scar line and the swelling itself is still fairly tender and it isn’t very comfortable to masturbate but I can touch it without pain, it’s more of a slight discomfort. I was advised to use coconut or bio oil on both my head and scar line which have helped some but not a ton. I have no discomfort/tenderness/pain below my cut.

Those bumps in your scarline swelling look similar to mine and are normal although mine have started to finally go down a little. They should be mostly gone by the time your swelling goes down. My urologist told me swelling takes 5-6 months to go down for some men but it can take over a year for other men, just depends on their body.

I would go to your doctor if that pain is isolated in that one area where the pencil is and nowhere else.

Hey man,

Thanks for the reply.

I’ve got an appointment on Monday so we’ll see what the doc says.

I’ve started using bio oil so we’ll see how that goes.

I’m wondering if the pain is a damaged vein?

Hi, it's normal for your scar line to feel tender you do have some swelling there still this will take time to go. it's good that you are using the bio oil massage it in to the scar it will help to reduce the swelling you could have some internal stitches or vein like you said causing you the discomfort.

Hi mr Mac,

Thanks for the reply.

Makes sense what you say. It may be stitches as it was dissolvable ones that they used and it was sore all the way along the cut line but has eased off apart from the point where the pencil is.

Perhaps it’s just a matter of time for the stitches to dissolve.

Thanks again, appreciate it.

Keep massaging it a couple of times a day it will go eventually. the bumpiness will reduce as well in time.

it will look really good I think you have a low and tight cut?

I’m not sure? My op was done through the nhs but was then done by a private clinic in order to get waiting times down. I had no consultation of what was going to happen or how it was going to turn out.

I think that’s been a bit of a reason for my anxiety with it, not really sure how it’s going to turn out!

But you do help with your comments, aftercare from the nhs has been non existent!

I'm sure it will look really good it will just take time in a few months it will look totally different. I think it's a similar cut to mine if you have a look at my post. the after care from the hospital is really bad this forum is really good for information from guys who have gone through it.

in reply toMrMac99

Just had a look at your post and I agree, looks the same. It’s good to see how it will finally look! Glad I got it done but not a very good patient!

This forum has been brilliant, I think I would’ve gone mental by now without it.

Cheers

Hi there, Isuzu

I am 5 weeks down the road from my circumcision and am having sensitivity issues with the glans, which I understand is normal. Are you sure that what you are experiencing is not actual pain but glans sensitivity? Perhaps a trip to your doctor just so he/she can give you some kind of advice?

All the best with it.

Chris

Hi Chris,

Thanks for the reply.

Yeah you could be right, the sensitivity is getting better but the pain could be from the scar line itself, who knows.

Got an appointment on Monday so may get to the bottom of it!

Hope your recovery is going well.

Look going what a a see your fine and look like we don't see what you are erect which looking is pretty much bigger this causes skin tears below the outer stitched area during erection and sex and masterbation but please don't panic I'm pretty much the same or was back when I was done learn to massage with oil over shaft a head and get used to new feeling and the bumps will disperse over time try and spunk with slow oil loaded hand and help prevent more prolonged erections through the night don't hold hard or tug on him if you did before allow pleasure to be slow and relax then once came warm shower to increase blood flow to speed healing sex will need to wait the now finger her till shes dripping or lick like hell till shes sorted but honest in few more weeks it will get better took me about 15weeks but I did wank every day not hard but had to I still get hardons 5 times a day I only sort out 1 or 2 sometime 3 lol but massage with coconut oil will help encourage healing as increases the blood to remove old shit from the site to allow new good luck let me know how you go check circumcise wise post me after 8 months and I looked like you only no mega black bush my mrs would never suck it lol

Cheers

the part that is sore is remnants of the ridge band, which is the part of the foreskin that is located just inside the tip of the foreskin. This is the part that causes inflammation. Notice how it has this ridged look to it, which is why I know that your doctor left you with remnants of the ridge band. The ridge band is what causes tightness of the foreskin because it expands and contracts in uncut males. You can try coconut oil.

He is definitely pointing to remnants of the ridge band. The doctor didn’t completely remove it. Notice the ridging look to where he is pointing. Do you believe that this is parts of the ridge band, since you have a foreskin to compare it to?

I am talking that maybe he has 5% or less of his original ridge band. I am talking fragments. Also I believe it is possible to have fragments of the ridge band remaining as long as they don’t forcibly retract the foreskin prior to removing the foreskin. In my case they didn’t forcibly retract the foreskin prior to removing the foreskin from my penis.
