Is my circumcision infected?

Hi I had circumcision a week ago and one side of the penis looks ok but the other has a lot of dry blood from where the stitches have been pulled I think from getting an erection I just want to make sure it’s not infected can you please look at the picture and tell me thanks.

Hi Man,

If you think you have any infection go to your GP if there is any new redness or bad smells.

To me it looks ok from your photo it's only been a week you have some dried blood and some bruising the area around your frenulum will be the slowest to heal have you had any stitches come loose yet? keep it dry and clean, I used to wash it with little salt baths twice a day and try to clean any dried blood of I found the shower and then the little Bath really did help me be more comfortable.

I used to use Melolin dressing on the wound and then a gauze dressing over that and keep him snug in a pair of briefs to stop him from hitting your clothes this helps with the sensitivity.

Ok mate I don’t have dressing on it but I clean it everyday it will be easier when it’s less sensitive to clean it though I’ve also got a jockstrap because i heard that helps with the sensitivity too

Yeah the fresh air is good to and the jockstrap will help keep him snug when you have to go out.

Th gauze dressing on its own I wouldn't advise it could stick to your wound, a little bit of the Melolin dressing first and then the gauze dressing.

The sensitivity can be hard to deal with but it will improve, when you are in the shower protect the glans with your hand from the water hitting it but if you can try and bear it. it will help to desensitize your glans

I don't know that it all depends on what type of work you do! I would be trying it out and try get used to it before you go back.

wrap him up well and keeping him snug that's about all you can do, it will get easier.

The wee guy looks fine keep him clean and fresh use some sudocreme round the stitch area but happy hardons do cause that bloody look give him time you will be playing with him soon and all the shi# that's happening will be in the past m8 you look as I did as I had a perm semi and about 40 hardons a day and had to wear shorts commando and just sit when the wee guy wanted to explode lol deffo leave it out to air as much as you can since mine I never sleep with clothes or underwear and don't think I will as that was not helping through the night good luck

That’s mate it a bit worse now but I got some tablets for it it’s still really sensitive though

Will be sensitive for a while it was covered up 2 now run coconut oil on it to moisturise
