Erections after circumcision

I am an adult male and was circumcised in October this year. I’ve healed from the stitches fine and thought all was well but over the last couple of weeks erections have been painful with what seems to be a bit of swelling underneath the head. Is this normal and part of the longer term healing process?

Basic full healing can take 2 months, but there can still be some deeper swelling for several months more.

Erections shouldn't be painful though, so talking to your GP is your best bet.
