Sensitivity after circumcision

I had my circumcision done 5 weeks ago. At first i could barely walk cause of the sensitive glans but in 2 weeks i even forgot about it. Right now i can do most of the stuff i could before except running (sports in general). My problem is the sensitivity i have now. It hasnt really improved in 2 weeks or very little improvement and i dont think im able to have sex yet, im afraid its going to be painful. I can masturbate, but i dont touch the head at all. Touching the head isnt a problem, but rubbing it is. Its very uncomfortable to rub it, thats why im afraid of having sex . How long did it usually take for you people to not have any problems with sensitivity and how long should i wait before seeing a doctor.

I only started using lubricants after keratinization, which happens to everyone circumcised. Lubricant is a good thought.

If only 5 weeks since circumcision, then I was very sensitive as I remember. It was 4-5 months for me, as keratinization for me started. Give it time, you will be fine in a few months. At least I was-time, best in the future

One last thought. I was also nervous about sex. Easier said than done, try not to be. Hopefully you have a supportive partner. Certainly with pent up tension, and sensitivity, you may ejaculate sooner than you would like. Time should resolve this, it did for me. I truly wish you best and a happy fulfilling sex life. Be well

I was about to make a similar post. Its exactly the same issue for me, almost 6 weeks in. Really hope it comes back to normal because I will regret this my entire life. Also my frenelum seems to stretch a lot when fully erect, feel like the doc cut too much skin, but i still have some swelling. What about you?

I had a very loose cut. It means ive got a lot of skin left. Even when its erect the skin isnt tight, i can pull it up and down but doesnt go over my head. Because of my loose cut i have a ring of skin under my glans that stretches out when erect. There is still a tiny bit of swelling on the cut but its not much. I had no problems with bleeding or pain from the cut. My main problem was the head sensitivity and im glad thats mostly gone. Im honestly satisfied with how it turned out. I dont regret it at all, just need to wait a bit more.

I was sensitive for awhile but mine was mainly pain from the stitches. Had mine done a few months ago and feeling fine. Cant tell while walking that anything has changed. Still trying to figure out my new package and see what hurts and is enjoyable. Masterbating is very different and sex is different but enjoyable. Give it time and I think you will be okay

I had no problems with stiches thank god, just the sensitivity. How long ago was your op and how long until you could have sex without worrying
