super sensitive after being circumcised.

before being circumcised I had phimosis so my glands hadn’t been exposed for 23years so now I’m 4 weeks post op and I still can’t wear boxers or pants? I can’t even wear a jock strap. Can someone help. What’s the best way going around this because I need to be back at work by next week.

The stitches are fully healed and I’m able to wank from the bottom half of the penis but can’t touch the glands (still feels amazing). I’ve just bought gauze stabs and a sports cup. How and should I wrap the glands with the gauze while sleeping and see if I can walk with pants on?

Someone must know the best way to desensitise the glands without feeling a lot of pain.

Hi,

You can wrap the gauze around the glans and secure it with a piece of medical tape. You can also use the athletic supporter or a pair of briefs/y fronts. One may be more comfortable for you than the other so it's probably best to try both to see what you prefer. Another thing is to try a desensitizing ointment or spray that contains topical lidocaine. Be sure to use one that is made for use in the genital area. These can be bought without a prescription. The chemist or pharmacist can assist you with choosing one if you are unsure which one to buy. The sensitivity will improve in time as your glans adjusts to being exposed.. Finally, you may also try rubbing a wash cloth on the glans as tolerated to help in desensitization. Good luck to you.

Ah amazing thank you will give this a try and update. Won’t be able to use a cloth ahah I can’t barely touch it with my finger.

You're welcome. You'll get to the point where you are comfortable with the cloth and more.

I was still pretty sensitive until my 6-7 week mark. Had mine done on 16th Jan, it’s not sensitive anymore now . Also I’ve changed from boxers to briefs as briefs are soft material compared to boxers . Will go back to boxers again as I feel comfortable but the sensitivity is almost not there now . Hope it helps .

at this stage I’m feeling so good about it that I got it done , I also had phimosis and glans were never exposed .

You are being too gentle with it. The more exposure it gets the quicker the sensitivity goes

Wanking this early on is not recommended. But sensitivity can last for some time.

I found wearing tight pants helped to stop movement with melonin dressing as a padding. These are square pads with a shiny non stick side that you place against Penis.

To desensitise I found the spray from the shower helped, increasing time and pressure.

Good luck
