Loss of sexual sensitivity after circumcision

Iam 24 years old and I have done a circumcision operation 16 days ago, after I did it I read on the internet that circumcision results in a loss of sensitivity when masturbating or having an affair with a woman. This gave me a panic attack.

I tried to masturbate after 15 days and its true, I don't feel the sensation I was feeling before the circumcision. I also read that the foreskin has nerves that gives you pleasure during sex/masturbation, is this true?

A fortnight is a bit soon to be engaging in any sexual activity, to be honest. Leave it another couple of weeks at least, and see how you get on then. I hope all goes well with you.

You're more than welcome - although it's probably not what you were hoping to hear. Take care and all the best.

So after I recover completely, probably in a couple of months, is it true that it will be harder to reach an orgasm and feel less pleasure during sex because of the circumcision?

There's good news and bad but bear in mind something like 92% of guys cut as adults are pleased with it. I can only speak from personal experience but yes, you will lose a LITTLE sensitivity, feel a LITTLE less pleasure and take slightly longer to orgasm. The great news is that because of the first two the pleasure you do get lasts a lot longer and the orgasm is much stronger because the buildup has taken longer. For me the benefit outweighs any small loss. Would I do it again if I knew then what I know now? Yes!

Its to early to engage in any such activity. Relax and take it slow wait a few weeks.

Maybe it is a good thing

Loss of sensation is an affect of circumcision. What any surgeon will not tell you is by how much..It could be 5% or 50%, it varies man to man. My opinion is that circumcision should be banned it all forms including elective surgery.
