Yellow discoloration/extras

I got circumcised Monday and I notice that beneath the shaft there’s a few yellow spots, it’s not puss because it’s not draining.. I just want to know if it’s normal. Also anyone else not experiencing pain? Just discomfort? Even when I get erections I can see my whole shaft and stitches but no pain, even though they are not full erections. Just wondering. I had circumcision due to chronic balanitis and I had enough of the pains for months, so I decided I needed to be chopped because I rather go through this pain once and not have to worry about it later.

Pain after circumcision is not inevitable, but some degree of discomfort usually is.

The yellow spots could be dried lymph, which is a liquid brought to the site of any wound carrying 'building materials' to repair it.

Puss would be much thicker and smelly.

Thanks, it doesn’t smell plus I air dry it every night just in case. I also thought about soaking it in salt water for a couple mins to help the healing process but doc said not to soak for at least 2 weeks. Ugh.. I’m much of a hygiene freak and it bothers me. Plus I’m down to taking 1 shower a day because I don’t want anything to happen with the circumcision, just afraid of catching an infection

If you use your antibiotics you should be fine both the cream and the pills

I’m getting circumcised for the same reason too. Balanitis is not very fun. Makes my foreskin itch and swell.

How is your recovery?

This is the exact reason why I got circumcised a few months ago! Recovery isn’t bad at all. Nocturnal erections are the worst part of the recovery, at least for me!

Yeah for me is the stitches getting caught on my blanket lol but yeah erections are very painful I keep them at least at 40-60% hard when i start to get one just because I don’t want to hurt bad and afraid of pulling the stitches too tight that it might break them and have an open wound that’s kinda where my mind goes 😆 but thank you for your input, I can’t wait to sleep better for sure.

Unfortunately you can still get balanitis if you are circumsized :/ which i currently have

Sucks but I can keep it under control if it ever wants to visit with mupirocin ointment, it’s prescribed. I heard it’s very good for it and it should relieve it and get it off too. It did for me. I used it for about 2 weeks and it was gone. That was on July the last time I had it but I was uncircumcised then
