dry, cracked, discolored penis head after circumcision
100% normal
100% normal to have some dry skin and peeling on your helmet after the op, mate. Although cracked and bleeding would not be, in my opinion, normal. I'm at nearly 10 weeks healed and I've been back in underwear without any swabs or padding for the past few weeks... and the rubbing still gives me dry skin and makes it peel. Vaseline is my friend.
Oh, and when I work from home (few times a week), I apply some coconut oil to the scar line and helmet and just sit at my desk - naked from the waist down - letting the oil soak in and letting the air get to it. Although I wouldn't look at oils or anything except vaseline until your wound has healed closed on the outside and the stitches have fallen out. I've noticed doing this is beginning to ease tightness and keep everything nice and smooth.
i also got 2 white patches on my helmet and im sure its cuz of the dam ice that i was holding through my boxers to cool of my swelling, the ice made my skin white in 2 areas but im not too worried about it... i did apply coconut oil twice on my helmet to keep the moisture there but maybe i should have used vaseline. the worst thing for me is the sleeping cuz of the stitches they hurt so bad when they get cought so im sleeping naked for the past 5 days and mostly on my back its really uncomfortable
if you are worried about how your penis is healing, get it checked by your doctor or surgeon. They are the experts.
