Circumcision day 12 - Yellow discharge.

I am 12 days post-op.

I've been healing really well, the swelling has gone down considerably, to the extent that it looks almost back to normal. I still am really sensitive but I'm dealing well with it. Also, my erections during the night are becoming less annoying and painful and I'm actually able to sleep comfortably through the night now.

However today, I noticed a yellow discharge. I heard that's normal in the first week, but this is only just popped up on day 12, is this something I should be concerned about?

I’m glad that your swelling has gone down. Was your swelling really bad like a ring shape in the first week? Also do you have any tips to reduce the swelling

In the first few days, the swelling was all over .. it was horrible. I think it depends on the type of circumcision that you've had (where the cut is) and just the natural body response. I'm honestly not too sure why the swelling went down so far, cause I've seen images of people who are 2 - 3 weeks post-op, and their swelling is a lot worse and still ring-shaped.

im 1 month post op and theres still a badly looking swelling ring although it did go down a bit but still far from back to normal

Hopefully, you will start to see more improvement in the next two weeks. I think I must have had a different type of circumcision because I've never had any ring-shaped swelling as I've seen in multiple posts. Unfortunately, I never asked my doctor about the type of cut and how it was done.
