I just took my first quick bath after the removal of the bandage last night, so far so good! But i want to know if it is ok to take bath o if it’s better to take showers where not to much water touches the penis or water is fine?!
Should I keep it always upright still?

Once the initial bandage is off there is no longer any reason why the wound should not get wet. Showers are better than baths in that only fresh water (and soap) get on the wound. In a bath you are soaking in the water that is collecting dirt from all over your body.
After taking a shower, sittting in a bath of salted water is ideal for soaking of an old bandage as it can dissolve blood which is holding the bandage on.
Water does not dissolve the stitches. They are only disolved by enzymes brought to the wound with lymph within your body.
Yes, it is desirable to keep your penis pointing upwards and reasonably constrained (eg with close-fitting briefs) for at least 4 weeks and preferably the full 6-8 weeks until the swelling has subsided.
Doing so allows excess lymph (which contributes to the swelling) to drain away.
Hi sebasjf you would be better have a shower and then wash him in the sink or a bowl in salt water 2 times a day dry him off and put vasalene on him try to keep him upright keep him clean keep safe good luck
Did you have stitches or glue? My Doc advised me not to soak glue during the first 14 days. Having a shower is still ok with glue, just don’t soak it in a bath or similar.
