So I’m on Day 5 of my post-op circumcision and its seems to be still be hurting even when i take tylenol i still feel pain. Also I don’t really see any stitches at the moment other than bottom of my glans. I don’t know if thats how its supposed to be or if its supposed to still hurt this much but if anybody could let me know that’d be great! Thanks!

Post op pain will vary from guy to guy. There is no one standard of pain. If you can see stitches all around just below the glans then that is where the skin must have been re-attached.

If the pain is really bothering you, despite the Tylenol, then it might be sensible to see your doctor.

I'm on day 5 as well. I could see the stitches for the first time today, but it's still very swollen, some bruising on the glans as well. I dont feel more pain, but erections are awful. I suggest you talk to your doc if Tylenol is not working for you. My doc prescribed Oxycodone which is a very strong pain medication. Luckily I only had to take it the first night after the surgery. Hope you feel better soon man.

Tylenol is great but it’s normally better to do about 400mg Tylenol then 4 hours later 400mg Advil/ibuprofen, and continue alternating each time you need to take meds. The Advil is an NSAID which helps with inflammation. This compound dosing usually works to give you more relief.

Things will improve with in few more days.Complications in circumcision are not common though complication still occur in few cases.

You should consult your doctor if pain and swelling persists after 7 days.

Some people, myself included, get no pain relief from Tylenol.

Aspirin or Aleve (naproxen sodium) work best for me.

Don't use either if you still have any bleeding since they also are blood thinners.

Is your pain glans sensitivity?

If that's your issue, wear snug fitting briefs to reduce the motion until you get used to it. If you have swelling also, keep your penis in an upright position in the briefs.
