I had a dorsal slit surgery. I read that after an year the skin will hang down, but even if will look like that, the head will be cover ? When will be flacid

I got my dorsal slit done when I was 14 to address phimosis. It will cover your glans in time to come. It will leave a little opening, so the top of your glans will be exposed to air, but it won't touch your underwear.

For me, the phimosis came back as I was not cleaning, diabetes played a factor, and eventually your body will heal and restart the process again (it took my body 18 years to remake a dorsal ring).

I got circumcised so I would not have to deal with having to peel back and clean. I figured I might as well solve several problems at once.

Thanks for reply. I had a complete dorsal slit, like the cut was done from top to the base. Your was the same ? I also had phimosis and this is why I done the surgery. Now is good like I have more than one month after the operation and it cover all the glans, just a little opening who is always open.

I had a partial dorsal slit. It seems mine only went maybe 1/3 down. For me, I think if I was circumcised at 14 or at birth, it would have been better as I grew up afraid of my sensitive glans.
