Dead Hard Skin on Glans after Circumcision

Hello All,

9 Days after circumcision , I take baths and clean my glans. But I saw that near the tip where we have urine apurture , there is some hard skin formation like dead skin and is often white-yellow-brownish. Is this scab, does everyone have had it?

Please let me know if it is normal and how to get rod of it?

some drying out of skin on the head is normal. You can use Vaseline to soothe it if it's sensitive. With the stitches, what do you mean by 'normalise'? I had dissolving stitches and they had gone by week 4

Normal, it will fall off on its own like any normal scab does, don't pull it!

Just Consulted my Doc , he asked me to apply a drop of coconut oil only on glans.

BTW the hardened skin on glans peels off after few days and a new layer comes up

I used Bio Oil at first, then coconut Oil. I now use coconut butter daily. Cocoa butter is similar but a bit thicker.
