Small penis ..get circumcised?

Recently had prostatectomy. Much smaller penis and forskin covers tip of penis..dr recommend I get circumcised. Any suggestions .1.5 inches soft and 3 inches erect. Disappointed of length after surgery

Yep l know 2 other guys and myself that had prostate removed and they said they have smaller penis.. been a year and length has not come back. ED has gotten worse.. pills help .. but not hard erection.. Penile implant might not work for me. narrow penis shaft.. cancer gone but no bladder control, smaller penis, ..soft erections. Sex is difficult and painful..

I was told by a doctor that my foreskin needed to be circumcised. I opted not to go through with the procedure. If you can retract your foreskin for cleaning purposes, I would not opt for the circumcision. You could potentially end up shorter.

Area why is circumcision going to improve length? It seems that a number men on this site have small ones after surgery.

I have no idea why a Dr would recommend you get circumcised. You don't have any of the symptoms that would justify go in through the process. I am uncut too and will fight like hell to keep my foreskin.

I have 6.5 o 7 on a really good day. Average skin coverage much like you have. Born in michigan, very few of us uncut guys here but was lucky to have a few friends that are if too.

This must be happen in USA. Hardly nowhere else doctor will suggest circumcision without medical need. Did the surgery change your length? Or is there some swelling left on your pubic fat pad area?

Yes in USA. Lost length after surgery.. Embarrassing for my nurse practitioner to exam me. My wife to see it so small .. And to shower after going to gym.. Smallest guy in shower..sorry guys I check other guys out.. .pubic hair shaved off because I don't have bladder control yet. Leaking urine caused skin irritation nurse said shave hair. And it will also make penis look bigger. ..

Ok. There is a tiny point of cut, but as long as you can wash down there. There is no real reason. Here in Finland <1% of adult men are circumcised and they can still use diaper.

Was you surgery robot-assisted, laparoscopic or open radical prostatectomy?

OT: Well, Finland is ranked the happiest country in the world, I'm not sure if there is a correlation of being intact. Yes, we are nude in Finnish sauna, for real. Not, in board shorts or swim trunks.

Here family normally go together to sauna at home (NUDE). Girls, boys and parents. When a child hits the puberty he/she can go with the family or just with same sex or alone . That is just normal. When you have seen you mother naked last time or ever?

note : some say circumcision make it shorter because of skin tension and scar tissue .

Interesting complication, but not something which can be reversed by circumcision. The problem stems from inside your body. You've been through enough and don't need more trauma and possibly another bad complication.

How long ago did you have your surgery? The penis is often shortened after prostate surgery but research shows that it usually recovers within about a year. Did he give a reason for suggesting circumcision?

Surgery about 1 year ago. Erect length after surgery was 2 inches most all last year. Has grown to 3 inches erect. Nurse practitioner said that it for length.

Do you have any problems retracting your foreskin for cleaning?

If not, the last thing you want to do is get circumcised.

Due to your incontinance you are at a much higher risk of infection if circumcised.

Do you have good health insurance?

Maybe your doctor wants a recurring patient. He already got you for the prostetectomy. He then wants to do a circumcision, followed by visits for infection of the cut. If that isn't enough he'll have you back for a revision of your circumcision to correct damage from the infection. Then you go back to the infection cycle.

Find a new doctor pronto.

The shrinkage is most likely caused by the trauma from the surgery and will return to normal in time and that time varies from person to person.

Some problems pulling back skin. It gets smaller when working outside in cold weather. Penis pulls inside body completely..nothing to grab on to and I leak on myself.

P.S. Even if you do have problems retracting, you can use a long tipped rubber ear syringe with warm water either in the shower or while sitting on the toilet.

Do not get circumcised!!! I had it done a little over a year ago and have regretted it since then. I’m 70 and they scared me into thinking it could be skin cancer. It wasn’t. Nothing but a little inflammation and now I’m paying the price of “cut them all in the USA.” I have no feeling left in my penis so therefore fell nothing when having sex. I know what sex is like both uncut and cut. Wish I could get my foreskin back. God made us with a foreskin so why remove it. It serves a purpose. It’s a cruel practice and should only be done for medical treatment.

There are ways that you can grow it with permanent results, jesExtender for instance. Ive been using it for about 4 years and gained about 3.5inches, I later learned that it works faster with a circumcised organ. Hence I've recently got circumcised. There's also a lot of added benefits in both ops.

Does it get bigger if you put a finger at each side of it and push into the pubic fat? Mine looks smaller than yours ( it disappears totally and leaves just a bunched up foreskin)because it’s buried in fat.
