Day 22 post op and still no stitches have fallen out. Is this unusual??

Nope, mine went between three and five weeks. If that’s typical then obviously you should start seeing them drop off in the next few days.

Might be a stupid question but what actually falls out is it actual metal stitches or what?

The last thing I hope for you is that you got metal stitches 0:, they should be dissolvable

Your GP surgery can usually remove them for you.

I think it depends where you live. Our appointments are in days and it does not take a doctor or a nurse practitioner to remove them!
