scrotum contracts

hello,

For approximately 2 years my scrotum goes tight as if cold when I’m active. My penis also sometimes contracts. It’s as if I’m cold even though I’m not. It happens every day. All is ok in the morning when I wake up or if I remain seated but once active a while all contracts and becomes uncomfortable. Taking Ibrupofen helps both discomfort and keeps all a little more loose.

what can cause this?

I did. Had a ultrasound and got told below

The region of interest as indicated by the patient corresponds to well defined nodules in a thickened spermatic cord which demonstrates increased doppler vascularity.

Appearances suspected to represent post vasectomy spermatic granulomas demonstrating active inflammation.

Both testes appear sonographically normal in shape, size, site and echotexture.

Normal vascularity noted bilaterally.

No focal intratesticular lesion is seen.

No microlithiasis seen

Normal vasectomy changes noted within both epididymides.

No varicocele or hydrocele seen.

Impression Spermatic granulomas demonstrating active inflammation. - Images and report discussed with DR - Locum Radiologist.

No Intratesticular lesion identified.

Vasectomy changes noted within both epididymides.

Been given naproxen

Could it be a nerve issue or something?

I don’t know. Could an STI cause this?

I wouldn’t think an sti would be the cause, but would visit your Doctor to rule it out if your worried.

Why would STI not be the cause. Would this more likely cause painful urination and / or discharge as I don’t have any of those

Autoimmune diseases, or health conditions linked to the immune system, are the most commonTrusted Source cause of internal granulomas. you would be best advised to see a consultant to ascertain the exact cause of your granulomas and have them treated.

hello, thanks for this.

Ive currently been prescribed with 4 weeks of naproxen then going back to GP for face to face.

Do you think STI is unlikely and something else could be cause. It’s strange as when I remain lying down or seated scrotum remains more loose. Maybe not as much as it used to but definitely more loose / normy

Ask your GP about post vasectomy syndrome on your next visit.
