Hi I am on day 7 of circumcision age 28. 2 things I am worried about. Is it becoming infected?

And is this new sore that has appeared described below normal?

How to heal sciatica under all this stress?

A new small but deep cut/wound appeared along a tight band of skin next to swelling area a bit below stitching on frenulum side. The new sore opened up over today on an area that appeared as blood blister/ bruise /skin stretch area following the opp. To my shock that patch of skin turned into a cut randomly today, maybe the skin have gave way due prolonged swelling and strain or and trauma during opp? The cut also looks a bit white?

The stitching around frenulum area has gone a yellowy black colour, occasionally oozing some pus looking Fluid? Accompanied with an odour? Pain is increasing? The rest of the stitches are more of a healthy looking pink colour. I have no signs of fever or warmth and swelling has gradually been decreasing all good signs tho.

Now to describe the last 7 days a bit more. And more of my story

After being told it went well by the surgeons. The first few days seemed to recover well at a good pace. The swelling has reduced very quickly to a more normal amount which must be a good sign.

It was swollen beyond belief to begin with I will say. Nothing could have prepared me for the shock. And also the effect on my mental health as well as my other issue sciatica getting worse due to having to stay immobile and the stress. Maybe I will cover more on these issues later on. Pain was low maybe due to the numbing but has gradually increased up to currently 6 or 7 out of 10 which worries me. Urinating is stressful accuracy low starting and finishing is very low so using public restrooms or other people bathrooms is causing me stress. Won't go into too many other details as it's been a haze that I would like to mostly forget, although I have tried to enjoyhaving time to do other hobbies i don't normally get too much such as playing musical instruments, escapism in video games and books and meditation. I see this as the way forward. Got alot going on with a mortgage going through so have had to go to a viewings and mortgage advice appointment ect a nice the opp which has been a struggle.

Due to living rurally and because things still need to be done, Activity wise only So far I've managed to drive carefully for short distances, slower than normal ect to give time to react to avoid he needs for sudden stops. Walking and most trousers causes huge comfort and I am trying to build walking duration up gradually. And I am starting to organise friend visits as I feel it important for mental health but I feel unable to talk about the circumcision due to social worries.

Probably the reason I am keen to build all this up as much as possible asap is because I am feeling very worried about my scheduled return to work. I have also been suffering with sciatica and being immobile and the stress of it all is making this worse. If necessary I guess I will have to extend my leave from work if I can.

I work as a postal worker so do about 10 miles of walking a day while carrying loads in a sideways bag it is broken up with driving for long periods, I am feeling stressed how I will walk for the long periods due to circumcision and carrying the lopsided bag makes sciatica worse also about the discretion of the issue with my colleges, using urinals again ect as urinating accurately is currently an issue and dabbing with tissue essential.

If anyone has gone through a similar situation has any ideas or help much appreciated. and any reassurance of a realistic recovery time frame for returning to usual activities be great.

Sorry for typos alot to get written

Any discharge that has a bad smell is likely to indicate an infection. You really need to see a doctor about that.before it gets worse

A lot of guys have to give up urinals for a while post circumcision and sit down to urinate.

Sorry to hear that you also have sciatica going on as well. Are you receiving treatment for your spinal problem?

Thank you for your reply 🙏I went to minor injuries where they ruled out bladder infection with urine sample but gave me antibiotics to curb infection if there is one. Off to docs shortly to check infection, check it is healing okay and ask about getting new sore that appeared will update on here.
